Task # 5
partially skinned pig

thickness of the skin
The skin was very thin and fine.
my assumption would be 1mm thick
very thin in my opinion.

What attaches the skin to the body of the pig
Cutaneus maximas

The pigs skin
The pigs skin helps cover the outter layer of the pig.

Compare and contrast removing the outer covering of the clam, crayfish, starfish and the pig.

The pig has the thin outer layer of all the organisms. All these organisms have pretty much the same exterior except for the clam and the crayfish, they have a harder outter layer more farmillar as a shell. The was they are simullar in some ways but most farmillar is that the skin, shell,or outter covering is considered protection.
